The Repurposed Diamond and Platinum Suite
The Repurposed Diamond and Platinum Suite

This bespoke suite is the result of a comprehensive technical remodel, transforming a singular platinum bracelet into a versatile four-piece collection. Utilising twenty-six exceptional D-colour diamonds—each measuring 3mm—the project focused on redistributing these high-clarity stones into a contemporary set that balances sentimental heritage with modern utility.

The suite comprises a structured ring, a minimalist pendant, and two pairs of drop earrings, all unified by a consistent design language. By reclaiming the platinum and the uniform brilliant-cut diamonds from the original heirloom, the new forms maintain a rhythmic symmetry across the different pieces. The ring was engineered for daily wearability, while the pendant and earrings utilise the superior strength of platinum to achieve a delicate, light-catching silhouette. The collection serves as a study in the longevity of materials, demonstrating how the components of a single vintage piece can be reimagined as a complete, coordinated suite.

This project exemplifies the artistry and sentiment behind bespoke jewellery design. Through thoughtful remodelling, heirlooms can find new life and purpose, continuing to tell their stories for generations yet to come.
