ABOUT
SUSAN PLOWMAN

Susan Plowman has been a professional jeweller since graduating from The Glasgow School of Art in 1987.

Her career is a testament to the longevity of true craftsmanship. Following her time preserving history at the Kelvingrove Museum—where she restored the works of Lalique and the Hull Grundy collection—she has dedicated her life to the bench.

Her passion lies in fine vitreous enamelled jewellery, a technique that requires a steady hand and an artistic eye. Today, she is a member of the Society of British Jewellers and the British Society of Enamellers , operating her private studio in Fortrose.
