She needed the rings to be versatile—beautiful enough to be worn together as a cohesive set, but strong enough in design to stand alone when worn individually.

Practical Elegance: One of Joan’s main frustrations with her original jewellery was the tendency for traditional “claws” to catch on clothing and everyday objects. To solve this, we focused on a “rub-over” or flush-setting style. By surrounding the gemstones with a smooth bezel of platinum, we ensured the stones were perfectly secure and the surface of the ring remained snag-free and sleek.

The Result: The finished platinum rings are the epitome of practical luxury. They sit comfortably together, reflecting a modern, minimalist aesthetic while housing the original stones that hold so much personal significance for Joan.
